In an old war
movie I watched once, American soldiers fighting the German Nazis were
running out of bullets. The cry from the battle line went out
"ammoammo, we need more ammo!" What brought that movie to memory for me
was that I recently overheard a group of youth workers talking about
today's music scene and how tough it was to get and keep their youth
group kids away from the secular stuff to which they were listening.
Those youth workers battle cry was "resourcesresources, we need more
resources!"
Actually I hear that cry from youth workers from all parts of our country. I believe that if we are better equipped, we will do a better job at meeting the needs of our youth in the spiritually challenged area of music.
