According to the Barna Group only 9% of all American adults have a biblical worldview.  Even among “born again” adults\, the most recent stats show that 19% of them have a biblical worldview. Part 1 Dec 13\, 2011:   Sexual Abuse One in four women and one in six men will be sexually assaulted at some point in their lifetimes. These stats are probably underestimates. Sexual assault is one of the most under-reported crimes\, according to the FBI\, because fear and/or embarrassment keeps most victims from reporting what happened.  5% of sexual assault victims are under age 12\, 29% are ages 12 to 17\, and 80% are under age 30. The highest-risk years are ages 12 to 34\, and girls ages 16 to 19.  If you are pastoring Sexual abuse is not just something you can ignore. The term “unchurched” is often used in reference to a type of behavior displayed that is not consistent with the ideals of the institutional church. The majority of 21st century youth are perceived as unchurched because their culture\, values and ideals are not consistent with that of their predecessors. However\, there is no such thing as a universal definition of churched.
