March is Women's History Month

I’m not sure how many of you knew this before you read the title of this post, but March IS National Women’s History Month, and it’s been recognized from President Bush as well as the National Women’s History Project. Today we see the progress made as we have a woman as a major Democratic Presidential candidate, we have a female Secretary of State, as well as women leading in every field of life. At UYWI, we are thankful for the women who paved the way for the women who currently lead our efforts: Celina Camarillo, Cynthia Chege, Julie Herrick, Carla LaFayette, Carolyn Poirer-Jones, and Dianna Spells.
