Will there be a reload in Dallas ever again??? I know last year got cancelled and it looks like this year will be also.

What can we do to get this one reopened or do we need to look at another location?
Houston is great but far away for us.

Hi Denise, we are very close to locking a new date and venue for Dallas this year in late March. There are some meetings and conversations this week in order to get it secured. I apologize for all the changes, but I wanted to assure you we are working hard to make sure RELOAD comes to Dallas this year. Hang in there: More info coming very soon!

Thank you so much for your response! I love the UYWI conferences and the Reloads and missed it last year. Don’t think we can get through another year without it.

If Dallas doesn’t work out…try Abilene. It has loads of churches that will support UYWI and plenty of hotels for staff, volunteers and participants.

What is RELOAD? Is it a group of trainers that travels to do conferences?

RELOAD is a conference that’s run by the Urban Youth Workers Institute in partnership with local host committees in each city. The trainers and specific schedule may change city-to-city, but the core curriculum stays the same. The common thread between all of them is a value for training, mentoring and connecting urban youth leaders.

Please keep us posted. We value this opportunity for both our young people and those that are reaching out to them. In the future, if you need another city to host a RELOAD I am sure Waco would be up to the challenge. Thanks for all you do!!!
