Bobby Duran, our RELOAD producer, happened upon some compelling polling done in the Chicago Sun-Times in the wake of 20 public school students killed since September. The data from 14 thousand polled said 68% were concerned, but more shocking was that 64% are not surprised that homocide was 2nd among deaths ages 10 to 24 in 2004.
