Self Improvement: The Struggle to Change

We all desire lots of changes, but fail to execute them. Just ask Paul: “I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.” (Romans 7:15).

The authors of Change Anything argue that a lack of willpower is not our problem. They suggest the reason we fail to make needed changes in our life (to live more financially, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and relationally healthy, for example), is because we are “blind and outnumbered.”
